My belly shot is not what it used to be and I am having a hard time accepting it. I obviously know that you have to gain weight when you are pregnant and that you can lose the weight later (what I hear when people say this to me is blah, blah, blah, you just have to be fat for a while, blah, blah, blah) but it's not a lot of fun yet. I feel like I have a rubber tire around my middle section. Or that I swallowed a bowling ball. Or a small child.
I have put off posting the inevitable baby-belly shot as long as I could but Dennis told me I couldn't wait any longer. So, here it is. Me in all my glory at 16 weeks. Thing is, it will probably be better when I get bigger because then, hopefully, people will KNOW that I am pregnant and not just think that I am porking up over the Holidays. Now I just look like a frumpy child eater.

The early stages are rough because you do just look and feel fat. I hated that stage and could not wait until I had an obvious pregnancy bump! My favorite day was when a stranger asked when I was due. It meant that I finally looked prego and not just a little chubby! I completely understand your feelings right now it does suck! You get to experience it again after you have the baby........ugh
You look adorable. Enjoy this...you waited SO long to get here. Believe me, before long you will say "wish this was all due to the fact I was 16 months pregnant" and not "man, you would think after 16 months this would have disappeared!". LOL. HUGS! Thanks for posting. I love it!!!!
Of course I meant 16 weeks pregnant! Could you imagine how HUGE a woman 16 MONTHS pregnant would be????? You have heard that you lose brain cells too, right?
That is a beautiful baby bump! My stomach looks like that, too. Sadly mine is just a holiday food baby and not a real baby. Maybe I should get pregnant so I have an excuse.
I need that shirt!
